Albany County Sheriff's Search & Rescue will never solicit any donations over the phone.

Albany County Sheriff's Search & Rescue is an all-volunteer team who operate under the direction of the Albany County Sheriff's Office. Our members give countless hours to the organization and are required to provide their own 24-hour pack. More times than not, we pay for our own fuel and supplies while on missions. ACSSAR uses donations to provide scholarships for our members to receive specialized training.

While donating a dollar or two while purchasing a hunting/fishing/ATV/Snowmobile license is important, our organization will not recieve that money. Those funds are used to reimburse state and counties for their expenses in Search and Rescue missions. Please visit http://hls.wyo.gov/sar/donations.htm for more information.
